Just in time for the last few days of school before Christmas vacation! Fun and educational at the same time! This packet is a continuation of the free worksheet "Stocking Stuffers Multiplication...Sneak Peek". It features the free page (sneak peek)plus 25 others, a total of 26 worksheets in all.
These worksheets can be printed in color or B&W. The graphics consist of those that I have developed myself as well as pre-made pic art which I have purchased and have been granted permission to use.
Each worksheet takes about 15-30 minutes to complete. The whole packet would take a few days to complete.
Cartoon-like and fun, these worksheets invite children to illustrate the multiplication concepts behind the 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 times tables. Since my graphics are simple and mostly made up of primary shapes, students who feel they aren't very artistic needn't be intimidated.
The purpose of these worksheets is to represent the math facts in some pictorial way for better concept understanding, and not to promote an art contest. Furthermore, each student's drawing is merely an "add on" to an image already provided in each example.
Each example requires the student to connect the pictorial to the abstract. The student must write the math fact that the pictures represent. Themes for the multiplication tables are: stockings and stuffers, yule logs and candles, wreaths and bows, Christmas trees and ornaments.
Suitable for grades 2-5, special ed or regular ed.
This is a great pre-requisite to the use of Color Coded Multiplication Program for memorizing multiplication facts.
