Read Write Cut
The teacher writes the first sentence before making copies. The students then read the sentence, write it, and cut the sentence up and put it in order. This is great when practicing sight or vocabulary words in sentences. I often used this in my guided reading groups. I would choose a sentence from the book or passage we were reading. It was usually a sentence that gave the students the most difficulty. This is also great for differentiation of materials as well.
I also take the cut up sentences when done and place them in a center. The students must organize the sentences and write them on the sheet provided.
I hope you enjoy this worksheet as much as I do.
