Description

Overview:
Your students will love decoding and writing CVC words with these task cards! Best of all, your little ones will work independently as they check their answers and evaluate their understanding!

What's Included?:
♥ 20 CVC word task cards
♥ A recording sheet
♥ A task card that goes to an answer key and a copy of the answer key.

To Use:
Teacher directions: Laminate and cut out the task cards with QR Codes. Hang them around the classroom. You may choose to put the final card with the answer key in a special place so students can use it when they are completely finished. Copy the recording sheets for students.

Student directions: Students will read each CVC word. They will then record the word next to the matching picture. For example, if they read the word “wag” they will write the word “wag” next to the picture of the dog wagging its tail. They can then scan the task card to check their answer. The QR Codes will go to the matching picture as seen on the recording sheet. If students got the answer correct before scanning, they can color in the picture in the box. If they did not get the answer correct before scanning they can fix it but should not color in the picture. The final card will take students to an answer key where they can see a completed paper. They can scan this when they are completely finished.
