THE READ AND DRAW METHOD FOR TEACHING VOCABULARY WORDS

Read and Draw is an innovative and interactive approach to teaching children how to read and remember everyday vocabulary words. Instead of memorizing or sounding out words, your students will draw pictures of each vocabulary word. Through the process of drawing, your students will create mental images of the vocabulary words -- which in turn will help your students to recognize, read and spell those words.

The Read and Draw method is based on cutting-edge research showing that:
1. Creating mental images of facts is one of the best ways to learn new information, and
2. Drawing and doodling help children (and even grownups) to focus and learn.

What's more, drawing can help to improve children's handwriting and boost their creativity!
