Product Description
Respond to either fiction or non-fiction by picking a powerful quote and drawing graffiti art to represent the quote. The student must copy the quote, explain the graffiti, and the significance of the graffiti to the quote. Students enjoy this activity because it gives them a chance to symbolically represent what a text means. I printed this out in a booklet form and pre-stapled it. This booklet has six walls; therefore it can relate to six different stories or six quotes from the same story....other variations are possible. When copying the booklet, you must turn every other page upside down, copy front to back, and staple. I have this larger stapler for booklets.
