This differentiated “Read and Roll” activity is an effective tool that accomplishes multiple objectives. It supports both reading comprehension, and provides meaningful practice of oral language and communication skills.

Students deepen and solidify their understanding of a text by talking about their reading. It's perfect for partner or small group work, literacy stations, or as a fun guided reading activity.

"EDITABLE" mats included!

(Editable means that you may add your own text in the boxes on the mats. The graphics, such as the frame, dice and page title are not editable.)

Two leveled mats are provided for both fiction and nonfiction, allowing for easy differentiation. Higher level mats are great for upper elementary students, and lower level mats are perfect for the lower elementary students.
