Transform your student’s learning about the characters in their books by using this video lesson. Students can literally become a character in one of their books in your digital classroom through the use of the apps Pic Kids and Yakit Kids.

Follow this Common Core Standard aligned video lesson in one hour long session or break it up into two lessons to have your students transform their character work in a fabulous and engaging way that encourages deeper level thinking.

This product was designed for a 1st-3rd grade classroom, but it is easily applicable to ALL grade levels with some small adaptations.

The product is designed ideally for a 1:1, 1:2 classroom of Ipads- However, if a class has four or five iPads - this could easily become a center activity.

NOTE: Teachers would need to make sure the MUST HAVE iPad apps mentioned above are purchased.

The video contains a step-by-step walk-through with teaching points and demonstration. The support material contains 2 documents. The graphic organizer and lesson overview. This is a 'plug and play' session that requires literally NO PREP from the teacher other than pressing PLAY or PAUSE!

I am uploading videos like these every few days. Come back for more 'plug and play' packaged lessons.
