This project allows students to reflect on themselves as readers to create a timeline of the books that have shaped them as a reader. They make a list of books, find the book cover online, and glue the covers in a journal to make a timeline. Then, they write an explanation about each book to share how the book helped make a difference in their reading life. The project is described on the first page of this document. Also included is a brainstorm page and the rubric, which is used for self reflection and assessment.
