Finally... Reader's Theater for lower grades! These fluency passages are decodable using either short vowels or long vowels (depending on passage) and sight words. The simple texts help children with expression, phrasing, and automaticity.
There are 4 different scripts with a cover page with characters' names that can be cut out and used as character cards for students' reference.
I also included a universal worksheet at the end with comprehension questions for when students are done reading. This includes "W" questions (who, what, when), and evaluative question, and an opportunity for students to draw their favorite part which involves visualizing.
Reader's theater can be used in Daily 5 or any other ELA/reading centers or workstations. It is a great resource for Read to Buddy.
NOTE: Stars on characters' names indicate a main character with more speaking lines.
