Little Mouse is a space hero kids will cheer for! This reader's theater script is an action-packed space adventure filled with humor and references to the historic moon landing. It was written for third graders, but has also been used successfully with strong readers in grade two.
In this download you will receive everything you need, including a script with an easy to read font, character cards for kids to wear while performing, a simple student glossary, and titles for your covers.
All of the materials come in black and white. I've also included a separate file for certain pages that are in color, e.g. the first page and character cards

Thank you for checking out "Mouse on the Moon." It is my personal favorite from the set of reader's theater scripts I wrote for my students. I am a part time writer with experience writing stories for kids. (You can see my work in the Scholastic Canada series, Literacy Place for the Early Years. I wrote 8 books for the series, including the big book, Pirate Lee.) I have really enjoyed combining my two passions of teaching and writing to create reader's theater scripts for my students. I'm excited to be able to share them with other teachers here on Teachers Pay Teachers!
If you enjoyed this script, please consider rating it. You will also receive point towards future TPT purchases.
Please follow me for more product announcements, updates and Freebies. I have a set of small group plays to come. I have also created a number of writing units I'm excited to share.
Thank you for reading this far. I hope you and your students enjoy this script as much as I have with my students!
