Product Description
This 40 page Readers' Theater Adaptation is about half the length of the Complete Christmas Carol and can be read in about 3 weeks with other activities. It includes color and b&w illustrations from the original 1843 edition as well as other historic pictures.

Text has been divided into four narration parts along with dialogue parts using original language from Dickens's novel. A few words have been revised to reflect today's vernacular, and there are several footnotes to explain 19th Century customs that students might not be familiar with such as Plum Pudding, the bandage around Marley's jaw, and why the Ghost of Christmas Past has over 1800 brothers.

The book is also designed at 40 pages so that users can print it double sided on 10 sheets of 8.5 by 17, folded in half and bound in the middle with staples.
