Who knew there could be drama in a box of crayons? Well when the usage is not exactly equal, the crayons begin to complain and even leave. The book of the same name, by Drew Daywalt, is a hilariously clever story presented as individual letters from all of the crayons in Duncan's crayon box. This 4-page play, loosely based on the book, features 7 of the crayons (blue, red, green, yellow, orange, gray and pink) plus a narrator who hears the crayons arguing and then tries to figure out what is going on. Your students will LOVE being dramatic crayons!
