Henry and Sammy have a disagreement on the playground. But, as they return to class to learn more about the ideas and dreams of Martin Luther King, Jr., they discover a way to treat each other with fairness and kindness. Students will follow along to find new ways to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day within their own homes, classroom, and communities.
This one act play, featuring five speaking parts, includes a simple overview of the life and teachings of Martin Luther King, Jr. Children will learn about his childhood experiences, his civil rights activism, his famous speeches, and his Nobel Peace Prize achievement.
