This 6 page script brings life to history while honing reading fluency and comprehension. Students can feel the tension and become emotionally and intellectually involved in these events as the struggle for equality and historical figures become real people with real problems.
This is a reenactment of an actual case argued before two different courts so it makes a wonderful precursor to comparing and contrasting. Two versions are available: one at 3.4 reading level, the other at 4.3 Both .PDF and Word.doc versions plus a grading rubric is included in the ZIP file.
