Product Description
This is a basic Reader’s Theatre Script for 7 characters following the mythological story of Apollo, Eros, and Daphne. It depicts the basic myth of how Eros (Cupid) came to have a bow and arrow and how Apollo came to be love stricken with Daphne. It is the Feminist tale told in a fun way with opportunities for students to research more character traits and details as well as provides much room to be creative with a variety of performance options. These mythological tales are great stories with fabulous characters. This gives students an opportunity to dabble in the genre of mythology while also practicing expression, creativity, knowledge of subject, and working together in a group. It is a great project alone or coupled with other similar scripts that the class can share with each other or other classrooms.
