Are you tired of scrambling for a piece of paper when sitting down to conference with a student? Or do you wind up with sticky notes everywhere, with no good system of how to store them? Then this is for you! These labels will print 10/page on Avery mailing labels. I put sheets of them on a clipboard and record on them while I conference with students about their reading. I record their name, date, level, something good that they have done :), My teaching point (TP), and something for next time. When Readers Workshop is over, I simply take that child's label and affix it to their own page in my binder. Then I have a neat and organized record of each child's reading progress.
