I created this sheet to help teachers launch reader's workshop in their classrooms. When you begin reader's workshop it can be very nerve wrecking... what to say to the child that is reading very well? what to say to the child who doesn't notice that they are misreading? These generic questions were generated based on various professional books such as Reading with Meaning and The Art of Teaching Reading. I also use put this in my sub folder so the students won't miss out on a day of conferring. These same questions were also posted one by one as I taught them how to partner read.
