This resources includes 20 vocabulary activities that can be used with any words. You may use these with vocabulary words in small group texts, mentor text, or with incidental words students come across in their reading.
You can keep a bin with hanging folders for pages (such as these) that students can easily access so when they are looking for vocabulary practice they do not disrupt your small group instruction.
These pages are sized to fit into student's reader's notebooks (composition or spiral).
Each practice page is meant to be used with any word so can be used in a student’s notebook more than once.
These materials are a part of the Launching Reading Workshop unit which includes everything that you need to launch reading workshop in your classroom and more.
