This Middle School Novel Study Project is designed to allow students to show their comprehension of a novel they have read. This is a culminating activity in an ELA classroom that could be completed as an isolated activity, station work or an activity during independent reading time.

This unit could be adapted to any novel topic you want your students to focus on; I chose to focus mine on Neal Shusterman, but I also attached other topics you could choose from. There is one lesson that could be completed as a whole group and the other mini-lessons below were designed for small group direct instruction based on individual need.
