This Reading Adventure Assessment is about swimming with sharks! This makes for great practice for the PARCC, NWEA, or any computerized testing!
Reading Adventure Assessment with QR Code is an Internet based reading activity in which students need a device such as an iPad and a scan app. to read QR codes. Students have the opportunity to read information published on a kid friendly site, interact with multi-media tools such as links and video, and answer questions based upon what they read.
Questions are linked to the 5th Grade Common Core standards and are listed after every question on the answer key. This could also be used for 6th – 7th grade due to text complexity.
This activity could be used as an assessment tool, classroom practice, homework, group activity, or even classroom instruction. The types of questions vary from multiple choice to written response.

-Reading Adventures question sheet without space to write answer, along with QR code for students to scan. (This option requires students to write their answers on lined paper or submit electronically.)
