Use these anecdotal notes to quickly and easily track student performance while reading.
--Group anecdotal note sheet: used for small group reading, tracks each student's accuracy and fluency. In the accuracy column, record the words that the student gets incorrectly. This can then be used for morning practice on flashcards with these words, or to review with the student during a one-on-one conference. There is also a space to make notes that might aide in your instruction for future lessons.
--Individual anecdotal note sheet: used to display one student's performance on these note sheets. Great to track data and to have it quickly and easily displayed for conferences, RTI, and student data trackers.
--My reading goals: Students set goals for themselves based off the teacher's findings in anecdotal notes. Included is a column to check with the goal is met. Great for growth mindset tie in!
