This unit contains 35 pages of activities, guidelines, and worksheets to use when partnering older and younger students together to read together. The unit contains enough activities to keep the students busy, engaged and learning for a weekly meeting for an entire year! It begins with questions to ask students, teachers can then use the questions to form the partners. There are guidelines for both older and younger students to review before meeting including how to listen and problem solve. The unit concludes with organizers to plan out a story together based on a super hero they create. Wouldn’t it be great to put their published stories in the library?
