Chart for predicting while reading, and finding examples of foreshadowing and suspense.
With prediction, students are asked to identify the place they stopped reading, what their prediction was, and what the outcome of the prediction was (correct or not, what their clue was/what they missed).
For foreshadowing, students are asked to identify the example and explain what was foreshadowed and how.
For suspense, students identify examples of suspense and explain the technique used.
