: I made these assessment sheets into a test taking practice booklet so students can be prepared to take the end of the year district reading assessment.

Word Meaning Assessment:
Two assessment pages where students are given a word that they must read or sound out and then bubble in the correct response. Assements includes, short vowel, special ending words, silent e, digraphs, consonant le, y as a vowel and silent letters. Ex:
Word cup is shown, student must find the picture of cup and fill in bubble below the cup.
Sentence Comprehension Assessment:
Two assessment pages in which students must read the sentence given and fill in the missing word with the correct repsonse. Ex: Did you eat the _______?
Student's choices are cat; cake; car; and truck. Student bubble in circle under the word cake.
Reading Passages Comprehension Assessment:
Four assessment pages in which students must read a passage and answer the comprehension questions after the passage. Ex:
After reading a passage about how does a butterfly grow, students first question is: What comes out of the egg? Students choices are: A leave; A caterpillar; A butterfly or A cocoon. Students would bubble in: A caterpillar.
Reading Assessments Answer Sheets:
Answer sheets are provided for all assessment sheets.
Use them during center time activity. You can copy the sheets back to back for easier use. You could also have the answer key at the center so students could check their own work.
Individual Reading Assessements
: Use them as three individual assessments to check if you students know certain comprehension skills.
Make a practice booklet for students. I did this before our big end of the year reading test so they were familiar with what they were expected to do. I have included a cover to use for the booklet if you choose this path.
