Here's a great resource to use in a lot of different ways! It includes 3 trifolds. One for fiction, one for nonfiction and one that is half fiction and half nonfiction. I use this as a homework project for kids. I want them to read at least 4 books a week on their own time for AR. So I give this trifold on Friday and it is due the following Friday. Students must draw and tell me about the story elements in each book or facts. Then, they write about their favorite book (of these four) and their least favorite. You could even add a line for parents to sign to verify the kids are reading each book. This could be easy to adapt for chapter books. Just change each book title to chapter title. These would be great for centers, homework and more! Great alternative to worksheets! Easy to make. Copy front to back and have kids fold into thirds! Great way to hold kids accountable for reading during the week!
