A fun and hands-on reading comprehension strategy that uses close reading skills AND keeps kids' interest and attention.
This product puts reading comprehension questions and prompts on the blocks of the game, which students pull out one at a time, trying to make sure the tower does not fall. They must answer the prompt they pull, either verbally with a group or writing on their answer sheet, before the next student's turn. This product uses the game Jenga, which you need to use or purchase if you don't have.
This product can be used as a group work game, a learning center, a class competition for review, and is great for a novel study or any other form of literature. All questions/prompts utilize a level of Bloom's questioning with all levels being used throughout the 54 prompts.
Included in this product:
✓How-To Use directions with pictures
✓54 Jenga Slips (pre-sized and ready to print)
✓Student Tracking Sheet
