Reading Comprehension Passages - 5 WH Questions - This resource includes 20 reading comprehension practice pages that cover the 5 WH questions. These passages are relevant and engaging for young readers! Students need to read the passages 3 times. Each time they read they can color a crayon numbered one through three. Next, students use crayons to highlight the answers to five “wh” questions including: who, what, where, when and why. This requires the students to look back in the text to find the answer and reinforces the important skill of finding text evidence.
If these passages appear too challenging and you are looking for reading passages to practice the 5 WH Questions with younger readers my Reading Comprehension Passages - 5 WH Questions for Young Readers may better suit your needs.
