Meet Polly, the newest volunteer at the neighborhood dental office! In these fun, engaging reading passages centered around Polly and her adventures in Dr. Winters’ office, students build their reading comprehension skills.
In order to meet the needs of our readers, there are two versions for each of the three stories. Each version of the story has its own set of comprehension and vocabulary pages.
This comprehension packet includes activities and graphic organizers that cover vocabulary building, problem and solution, point of view, making connections, summarizing and creative writing. This will help you to cover multiple concepts with one story.
Please take a look at the preview to see sample excerpts from one of the stories. This will give you a better idea of the reading level of these stories.
