Are you sick of your students' reading notebooks being disorganized? Try these reading comprehension strategy tabs.
Each tab will help keep your students' notebooks organized by reading strategy. The tabs also allow students to quickly refer back to a strategy that they learned. On one side is a definition of the comprehension skill or strategy. On the other side is a graphic organizer or sentence starters that students can refer to when reading independently. Students use these thinking stems and graphic organizer ideas to help them create responses in their reading notebooks during independent reading time.
Comprehension strategies included are:
Monitoring and fix-up strategies
Fact and Opinion
Cause and Effect

Main Idea and Details
Each page has two tabs on it so that it can be printed landscape and then cut in half to save paper.
