• Read short story 2nd and 3rd-grade level passages and answer WH questions (WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE ) with this reading comprehension Halloween story set. This flexible resource is designed so you can use it as a book, individual pages or cut the story, question and answer sections apart from each other.
• Each story has only 1 question per page and the story is placed directly above every question on each page which makes great materials for students with disabilities. This set has 5 short paragraph stories about the Halloween activities of Brian.
• Directly beneath each passage is one WH questions with 4 answer choice cards.
• Use these stories, page by page or bind each story into its own book. Space for binding has been left at the top of each page. It’s YOUR choice. Be sure to see directions for more options in printing.

Here is what your students do:

Students read the story at the top of each page then answer the WH Question beneath it by selecting the answer card from the 4 possibilities and placing it in the answer box. You can also choose to use these pages as worksheets. Each page repeats the story at the top of the page with the next WH question underneath.
