Sometimes kids have a difficult time expressing what happened in the story. This worksheet helps students break apart the story by selecting the major events that has occurred within the literature piece.
Teachers can use this as a way for students to illustrate the major events, use sequencing to tell what happened first, next, and last. This helps students formulate their summary. By the end of each worksheet, the student would have completed a 3 sentence summary of the story with illustrations.
Student Learning Objective:
Students will be able to illustrate the parts of the literature story and explain orally and written in 3 sentences about what happened at the beginning, middle, and the end.
