Often times I found I was taking reading conference notes in random locations because I had not yet found the right system. So I created my own! And with as many as 50 students a year I needed a better way to organize my reading conference notes.
Using a 1 inch binder and the dividers that are labeled with letters, I photocopy this dicument back to back and keep a stack of blank ones in the front of the binder. As I meet with students I make a sheet for each student. This way there are notes for up to 6 conferences on one piece of paper.
The pages are then placed in the binder according to the students last name, making them easy to find for future conferences.
