*A quick and organized way to keep track of student/teacher reading conferences
This form helps teachers jot down notes during a reading conference. Often, conferences last only a few minutes and it can be difficult to remember what to write down.
This form guides the teacher through the conference with a friendly script and large open areas for jotting down notes.
It asks the student to describe their book, to read aloud (with space for an informal running record), and to decide if this book is a good level for him/her. It also allows for a comprehension check as well as gives the teacher space to jot down three take-aways to help create future minilessons, group work or reading partner pairings.
This form is EDITABLE in Microsoft Word and allows for teachers to customize it to their own needs.
A great bargain for a valuable resource!
