You will receive a full page description on how to answer extended answers in reading. This page will be beneficial for teachers, parents and students. Next there will be five worksheets for students to practice answering extended answers.
Extended answers are questions in which students must write out their answer in full and complete sentences rather than just bubbling in a multiple choice answer. A student that can master this will not only be successful in reading, but also science and social studies.
Please review some of my other sales in reading. Rather than just provide students and ask them to answer a question, I am selling 8 different listings for reading. Each reading focuses on one of the major areas of reading: (1) Vocabulary, (2) Compare and Contrast, (3) Fact and Opinion, (4) Story Elements, (5) Authors Purpose, (6) Main Idea, (7) Interpreting Information, and (8) Cause and Effect. If you truly want your child/student to excel in reading then they must first master the various skills of reading in isolation.
In addition I am an elementary school teacher, but also a published author. On this website I include explanations, examples and worksheets for teachers, parents and students that are all taken from my workbook on expository writing as well as the 8 benchmarks of reading.
