Fluency boxes are a research-based reading strategy and a great way for students to practice and reinforce sight word vocabulary and phonetic skills such as letter patterns and common phrases. They can be used in a variety of ways! The fluency boxes in this packet are an adaption of this reading strategy. All of the boxes in this packet focus on short “a” word families and each fluency box
