Description

Printable graphic organizers can help student practice and demonstrate reading comprehension. This set of 24 differentiated graphic organizers can be used with any fiction book. Use them to help students identify basic story elements and plot elements: characters, settings, and sequencing key events.

Because the graphic organizers offer varying levels of support, they are perfect for differentiation. Differentiation is provided in the following ways:

  • simpler pages that allow for drawing and/or writing
  • simpler pages that provide picture cues for students who are learning new terminology
  • more advanced pages that require more writing or incorporate multiple story elements in one page
  • includes versions with and without lines, to support student needs

Because of the varied levels, these graphic organizers also help support a class as they grow in their understanding of the skills.
