Tired of writing comprehension questions for every book your students read? Ever wonder if they are even benefiting from your work? Try giving each student specific rotating job for each reading assignment.
I use these bookmarks during my reading book circles. Each student is assigned a job to complete after reading his or her assignment. I have also created worksheets to guide students through competing this work, or they can work more independently in a notebook.
Each bookmark includes the title and description of the student's job for easy reference. I have these copied on several different colored paper and laminated for easy reuse with each reading group.
