Students read an interview about the shopping habits of some Spanish teenagers and complete related activities.
The corresponding activities include:
-Answering pre-reading questions about their shopping habits and preferences.
-Identifying cognates in the article.
-Using the context of the article to define new words.
-Answering true/false questions about the article.
-Answering comprehension questions in complete sentences.
-Comparing Spanish and American culture.
I have used this as a test, but it could easily be done as a reading activity instead!
*PLEASE NOTE: The article to which these activities correspond is not part of this download. In order to access the article, you will need to visit the following web address:
Once you are there, you will need to create a (free) account, if you do not already have one for that site. After you create an account, you will be allowed 5 free downloads. This article is great, and in my opinion, it is well-worth the couple of minutes it will take for you to set up an account!
*PLEASE NOTE AGAIN: I did not write the article and I do not at all profess to have done so, only the corresponding activities.
