This is a great way to see how your students feel about reading. I like to do this at the beginning, middle, and end of the year. This allows me to see if their like or dislike of reading grows or dwindles. I am able to target students that I know dislike reading and help them change their opinion of reading, as well as challenge students that already enjoy reading!
There is also a scoring guide. I came up my own rubric. If a student scored less than a 30 out of 40 points, I qualified them as a student who does not regularly enjoy reading.
