These materials were created to provide teachers with a way to organize and collecting data gathered during repeated reading interventions, expression and retelling evaluations, and for determining growth in reading fluency and accuracy. The graphs allow the teacher and the student to chart student progress and set reading fluency goals. They also indicate areas of reading growth and areas where the student needs support to improve reading skills. The rubrics provide validity in the evaluation of student reading skills (expression, retelling, and comprehension) by removing teacher subjectivity. These materials can be used for any student reading at any level of text. They can also be used along with my reading intervention materials: Snipped Stories (fiction) and News Nuggets (nonfiction).
