How do you teach reading intervention and progress monitor student's progress? It's an overwhelming task! This reading intervention unit progress monitors AND has learning targets ready to print! Click here to watch a video preview and teacher explanation of this unit: Reading Intervention
Vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension all in one resource. Pre and post assessments are included. This was created for the busy teacher who doesn't have time to re invent the wheel. I wrote this to help my fourth graders catch up in reading, and I want to share this with you! I sincerely hope it is not only a time saver, but that it helps your students improve their reading!
This is a 115 page reading intervention unit. There are two levels of reading: one is about a third grade level and the other is about a fifth grade level (easy and harder) so it can be used for intervention with 4-6th graders reading below their reading level. You could also use it for high/average readers in second or third grade.
There are four weeks of reading intervention lessons. Each week includes vocabulary, main idea, close reading, inferences, and summarizing lessons. There is a pre assessment and a post assessment so you can measure progress for data purposes and goal setting. Rubrics for each passage are included.
Learning targets for each day's lesson are included! Just print and go- no prep!
