This is a six-week intervention for intermediate readers. Thirty days of instruction help readers to build their fluency, academic vocabulary, and awareness of text structure.
I created these texts and activities based on research in what helps readers to improve. A clear routine engages students in repeated readings, choral readings, and placing text details into graphic organizers. Vocabulary PowerPoints introduce academic vocabulary words for each text with photographs and questions.
Texts are science-focused and include:

-How to Know the Wildflowers
