These bookmarks were created to help teachers, students, and parents understand what new skills readers should know on their current reading level.
I used the Fountas and Pinnell Continuum of Literacy Learning to discover the new information/thinking readers need to do at each level.
During Guided Reading and while conferring, I print and laminate the bookmarks to remind myself what new teaching I need to do at each level.
During Independent Reading, students keep these laminated bookmarks in their baggies to remind themselves what they can work on to be a better reader.
I also have my students use these bookmarks to set goals for themselves during reading.
