Product Description
Do you want to assign students a book at their reading level? Search no further! I created this resource so students could select a book at their independent reading level. My classes are very diverse and I also wanted to differentiate for my students' ability levels. The lists are divided into two categories- American Literature and World Literature. The texts are listed by Lexile reading levels from low to high.

My students selected a book close to their reading level (Lexile levels could be obtained after students took our district MAP test). This is a great resource for differentiation. If your class is like mine, students’ reading levels varied from very low to low-average and on-level ability.

If you like this resource, see my INDEPENDENT READING BOOK TRACKER that students completed after reading the book they selected.
