Very similar to some of the reading diaries that get sent home, only these are bookmarks as well. Each one has a front and back cover with a recording sheet inside. They can have more than one at a time and they can be filed away easily. Students record their name, date and title of the book they are reading or have read. Their is a comment section that either student or parent can fill out and at the bottom for those students that may wish to, there is the opportunity for them to draw on the face how they felt about the book. In some cases it may be to reflect that the book was too easy for them or that it was really hard to read, or it could be whether they liked the book or not. Above that there is a section for them to record what reading day they are up to, this should only be added to if they have completed the rest, should not be adding to the number for a day that they did not read.
There are a few different variations on themes included: Simple colours, Rainbow, Space, and Fairy.
Best way to bind the pages together is with small clip rings and to laminate both the back and front covers for strength.
