Readers become better readers by listening to good readers and by reading themselves***
Teachers, homeschoolers, do you send a book baggie for homework every Monday?
Mothers, Fathers, Caregivers do you read to your children every night?
You have come to the right place! I will tell you why?
I have the perfect tool to keep track of children's daily reading. At the same time my product would help reinforce the days of the week, months of the year, holidays and numbers as well. Isn't this amazing?
Remember to alternate readings in a variety of different ways (I suggested some strategies on the instruction page.)
What is included?
One page per month from January to December, the 12 months of the year.
Each month includes special holidays.
At the end of the reading ask the child to color, place a sticker or write an uppercase letter "X" to the appropriate day of the month. Then ask the child to tell you what date is today? Help them with complete sentences. Example: Today is Friday, March 11th, 2017. Praise the child: Great job i see you colored, placed a sticker, or wrote an "X" on the number 11. Guess what day is tomorrow? Tomorrow is Saturday, March 12th, 2017 by pointing to the word on the calendar and so on...
