This packet of seven interactive reading response sheets will challenge students and allow them to practice literary analysis skills. Several of these worksheets focus on Indirect Characterization, although there are many other questions and graphic organizers which allow students to use evidence and analyze:
Author's use of Imagery
Cause and Effect
Point of View
There are five different worksheets, and two are modified for differentiated instruction, for a total of seven reading response sheets. These challenging questions and graphic organizers are also a great tool for students to use for literary elements mini lessons, small group, or independent reading stations.
I have used these reading log response sheets in my middle school and high school Language Arts classrooms with great success and I know they will work for your classroom as well!
