What educators are saying
Great way to help students organize their thoughts. Sometimes I use just one sheet and other times, I use two different ones for the book review. I love all the options.
This has been a huge help with getting SSR time set up in my classroom and how to track what the students are reading.
Description
Reading log without parent signatures! This eleven page Language Arts document allows the students to think about their nightly reading and respond in a meaningful way. No more "mom sign this" Reading Log. Students use comprehension strategies and graphic organizers to respond to their nightly reading...not just list a title and get a signature. Student are actively and meaningfully engaged in the recording of the books being read. This file contains 11 different logs that can be copied back to back, and interchangeably to provide a school years' worth of responses.
This is perfect to differentiate instruction, as different students can use different logs to respond.
Use for homework or for in class responses. This log is very versatile!
