Reading logs for all ages/stages of early reading.
For the youngest ages, there's the parent/child reading log, where parents can check off if the parent read to the child, the child read to the parent, or both read together. Also a spot for notes.
For the early readers, the "I can read" log has a place to note how many/which pages read and time spent reading so you and the child's parents can keep track of progress with reading speed.
For the elementary school/grade school readers, there is a detailed reading log where the child can write down either a summary/recap or reflect on what s/he read. I've also included a mini book report to be completed after the child is done reading his/her book. The mini book report also has a place where the child can rate the book.
The detailed reading log would probably also work as a useful resource for high-school aged children so they can keep a running summary/log of what they read and have notes they can go back on when writing a full book report and review before tests on the material.
Each of the logs (excluding mini book report) includes an inspirational quote about reading.
