This is a growing collection of Back to School reading logs for numerous themes. While emergent readers need to hear great read alouds, they also need practice reading and developing fluency.
These reading logs encourage students to be independent and record all of the minutes that they, themselves, read! Two versions are included: the first asks students to color one picture for every book they read; the second encourages students to color a picture for every 10 minutes they read and record the total minutes. The second version is great for encouraging kiddos to count by tens and record their reading minute totals! Great to introduce at Back to School Night!

Brown Bear Characters, Back to School, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter, American Symbols, Western, Dump Trucks, Butterflies, Chicks, Fish, and numerous Summer themes!
